What are some of the water sources I can filter through the British Imperial?

Water from a pond, creek, lake, river, mud puddle, well, cistern, rain water, toilet tank or even water you have stored yourself can be used for drinking or cooking with peace of mind.

How does the system work?

Just add water into the upper chamber which gravity feeds through the ceramic filters into the lower chamber.
Two filter elements are needed for the British Imperial included with purchase.

Ceramic elements may be cleaned 100 or more times with a soft brush or 3M Scotchbrite. The new British Imperial Gravity Feed Water Filter combines original Doulton technology with increased capacity, a 40% faster flow rate, and the exclusively designed 8 1/2" x 2 3/4" Doulton ceramic filter element is complimented by the attractive 3 gallon capacity, stainless steel container. If you like the Big Berkey, you are going to love the new British Imperial water filter.

Detailed easy to assemble and operating instructions are included. No tools required, assemble time is 2 minutes.

The British Imperial water filter can produce up to 20 gallons of drinking water per day, and when empty, weighs less than 7 pounds. It compacts for easy transportation and storage. The compacted dimensions are: 10" x 17"

Assembly takes less than 2 minutes and requires no tools. Assembled dimensions are: 10" x 25-3/4" with a holding capacity of 4.5 gallons.

Product is silver impregnated and will not permit bacteria grow-through (mitosis). It provides a hostile environment for all microbiological organisms and won't support their growth. Ceramic elements may be cleaned 100 or more times with a soft brush or 3M Scotchbrite.

This product is manufactured to meet the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) Standard 42 National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) Standard 53 ISO 9002 Quality Standard British 5750 Quality Standard England's Water Research council (WRc) Performance Standards.
